Removal (Deportation) and Reentry: Student Visa is About to Expire in a Week but Court Date is in Two Months. is It Poss

My friend who is an international student on F1 visa was involved in a drug prescription forgery several months ago. His second court date is in August. However, we just heard that the school has terminated his SEVIS two weeks ago, which means he has to leave the country next week.

Now we are wondering, how can he stay in the country till his trial?
Is there any way he can stay on his student visa status till then? Or is there any type of visa that could be applied to him till then?

Any idea is very much appreciated at this moment.
