My ex wife lied to the police and said I broke into our house and stole a laptop. I was charged criminally and in jail for 16 weeks which in turn caused me to lose my job and place to live. She also stole my car by using an old title and selling it. The title she used was void because after we separated I filed for a new title. The case was dismissed because of insufficient evidence and the fact that I had 2 witnesses supporting an alibi at the time. Can I sue her. I also lost a year an a half of interaction with my son because while I was in jail she filed for divorce and wouldn't allow me to see my son.
