My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Arizona.
I currently reside in Florida and have no clue where my sons father resides. I am a British Citizen who is now naturalized and currently has an American passport.
My mother resides in the United Kingdom and recently had surgery due to Cancer.
My son and I (he's 11 years) need to travel on an emergency to see her. I recently applied to have my sons passport renewed but applied by myself as I have no clue where his father is. He does not want anything todo with his son and does not contact him,call him or visit. I also have sole custody and have tried to explain to the Passport Office but they are insisting that I need to get a court order requesting permission to apply for a passport for my son on my own.
Also I no longer reside in Arizona where the divorce took place so I would also need to request for a telephone hearing but our flight de tapers in 3 weeks time.
What do I need to do inorder to have this done ASAP?? :wallbang:
