Once I am removed as a Cosigner can a Company put me back on without my consent?
I had a horrible experience being the cosigner for a roommate(i am no longer his roommate nor do i live on the property). He purchased security system and said he wouldnt be able to be there for setup and asked if i could help. I thought I would just have access and instead became a cosigner.
Long story short I asked to be removed they had both of us sign a form and fax it in. They informed me that I was taken off but now the company is calling me saying that he is denying ever signing and that he never opened up the account.
I was removed and not only do I not want to be apart of his mess I dont want to be liable for his actions.
