Not sure where to post this because it involves the abuse of an undocumented child.

I recently found out through my mom that My teenage cousin is being abused by her mom. I was asked to investigate what should be done. The story I was told was that my cousins mother got very angry at her because her mother found porn on her phone and because she is bisexual. So her mom smashed her phone with a hammer and through her against a wall. Not sure how hard because her mom is not really strong or anything but that is not the point. My mom was asking if we should report her to child services. The reason not to do so would be because my cousin along with her brother, mother and father are undocumented and the fear is possible deportation. Not sure if it matters but the mother and father are separated and the kids go back and forth between the two.
