Use and Enforcement: How Do I Privatize a Bridge I Built

My question involves real estate located in the State of: West Virginia

When I built my home, I built a new access bridge over the creek that separates me and 4 other families from the road in front of our houses. Prior to building this new bridge, each family had their own bridges or had to physically drive through the creek. I own the land on both sides of the bridge, all materials were purchased out of my own pocket, all labor was provided by me and my family; in short, the bridge is MINE. Over the years, the other families have let their bridges delapidate as they used mine. Periodically, I have roped off the bridge to make repairs, etc. and these families have accepted this as my right & taken their previous routes across the creek. How do I legally have this bridge declared mine & keep it from becoming "public property"?
