A vet euthanized our cat without our consent, and lied to us that she died on her own. After getting the record, I was surprised to see a note (added after the cat was already dead) that "owners verbally agreed to euthanasia". I believe, a signed consent is required.
There was more to this case, like medical malpractice, deception and doing other stuff without owner's consent. I'm referring it to VMB. But I'm trying to understand if things like that are within their jurisdiction or something completely different.
