My question involves insurance law for the state of: CT
I was rear ended by a vehicle at an intersection. She hit the tow hitch on my vehicle which caused the frame to snap in an area that had some rust. She was deemed to be at fault, has auto insurance and I have full coverage.
My question is, will I be covered to repair the snapped frame? Even though it had rust prior to the accident, it wasn't snapped prior to the accident. As a result of the frame snapping, it also through the alignment of the wheel and bumper off by about a half inch. I towed a boat with it just last week, it was rusted but sound. Thanks!!
