My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: North Carolina
Bought a used car for $8k. Seller stated the car had been in accident previously and had been repaired by a professional. I test drive the car and I liked it so I bought it. He informed me the title was total loss and it didn't bother me. Few days later , I decide to get an alignment and the shop said they can't due to frame damage . I contact the seller and he said he was not aware of it. He refused to refund the money. I signed a bill of sale saying the car was sold as is where is with no warranty. Do I have a case or did I just buy a lemon. Attorney wants $2k to try something.... Please help.
