My two previous red light tickets were from the City of Lynnwood and they were successfully contested. I received a red light ticket from the City of Seattle and printed the form of their website and sent it to the listed address via certified mail. It was delivered 6 days before the deadline. I have the tracking information, as well as the certified receipt.
Today I received a Violation and Failure to Respond notice with $25 fee tacked on. What options do I have and what's the best way to resolve the matter. I was not driving the vehicle when the ticket was issued.
Any advice and help would appreciated.
