My question involves criminal records for the state of: Washington In 1989 I was convicted in Washington State of a gross misdemeanor, and had it vacated in 2009. On the Washington Courts website you can pull up online court dockets of criminal cases, and mine comes up. At the end of the docket, it is recorded that the conviction was vacated, but there is nothing at the top of the docket, at the very beginning, that indicates that the conviction was vacated. Another individual I know of had a 1995 conviction vacated in 2004, and the top of his online docket has information that mine does not feature, including this clear notation: RCW Disposition VACATED. Why would his have this notation, while mine does not? Can this docket be modified if I request the court to do so? The reason this somewhat concerns me is that, if someone views this online docket of mine, I would like that VACATED notation clearly visible right at the top of the docket, so that is clear to begin with.
