My question involves an easement in the state of: Virginia
I am about to purchase several acres of property in Virginia. We will need to grant right of way to for a neighbor to gain access to his property. Currently the access would be over a dried up creek bed. I have a few questions. One, who is responsible for building a bridge to go over the creek bed and who is responsible for maintaining it. Second, if damage occurs to said bridge or if bridge collapses and vehicle is damaged who is responsible for that.
