So bad news. I just bought a car in earlier this year and I was in process of getting it insured and I got into a car accident. I found found at fault and the other insurance had to pay for the damages to the other car since I was uninsured at the time.
Now they're saying that I owe 6k in fees due to accident and want a lump sum but since I'm a college student they want to settle a hardship with me of 100/month.
What should I do? Any way out of this or getting it reduced?? I know it was my fault for not having insurance but it was clearly her fault for accident however I was still found at fault. She stated that if i don't do anything about it they'll suspend my licence.
