I'm from Venezuela with a dual nationality. My last country of residency was Venezuela. I obtained a J-1 visa stamped on my passport from Spain. I began to apply for J-1 visa waiver under Non-objection but Venezuelan embassy in Washington notified us about missing a legal employee or agent responsible to sign those letters. Additionally, Venezuelan government and the governmental department of international relations, represented by Mrs. Delcy Rodriguez, has not replied to 5 letters submitted to request my non-objection letter since 2 years. I would like to know if would be an option to apply under the concept of non-objection letter obtaining independent letters from official department of criminal background, tax and national scholarship from Venezuela in order to demonstrate that I don't have any responsibility with Venezuela and be able to waive the 2 years term.
I hope someone can help me to solve this inquiry. Is important to highlight the difficult situation experienced by all Venezuelans under J visa, nowadays. Venezuelan government is not supporting any Venezuelan living in US.
