My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Florida.
Entered into a contract to provide laminate counter tops with undermount sink in June 2015. Customer delayed all work because they decided to do all painting first. They rescheduled and said they would be ready for us to come in in August. We purchased all the materials for counter tops and undermount sink.August came and they delayed again because of other work being done. September was told to go ahead and get ready to come out with new tops. Next day get a text saying hold off they are going to get new cabinets now. Here it it middle of November cabinets are not installed yet. Get an email yesterday 11/09/15 and they want to cancel the entire job because they have decided to get granite counter tops. She is requesting ALL of their deposit back. I explained to her that the under mount sink and laminate is non returnable. We are a small shop and may never have use of the laminate she choose. I just need direction in what to do now. Thanks
