I met him in a public place most likely with security footage. I know his name, address, and I have emails/texts from him. He keeps claiming they're real and won't give me a refund.
I heard the police don't really do anything for small stuff like this.
Would the police even do anything if I file a police report, should I go to his address and then call the police, or should I try to take it to small claims court?
The money isn't the main issue. I just don't want him to scam people and get away with it and continue it in the future (who knows if he didn't already do this multiple times).
