Estate Assets and Debts: Liens Placed on House Years After a Quitclaim Was Signed Between My Mother and I

My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: California

2005 bought off my mothers loan on her house, clean title, 2006 she quit claimed house in my name, 2007 refi'd again clean title. Mother passed 2010. 2015 selling the house and I have 5 liens listed by title at the Records/Assessors office all years after the quit claim.

I guess my question is, how do I know these are LIENS ON THE HOUSE, and not just on my mother (on the person)?

Currently this debacle is holding up my house from selling, there is 90k in outstanding debt.

How can a lien be placed on a property when there is clearly a document (quitclaim) stating that the owner is not attached to the property anymore.

NOTE: None of these liens transferred, and popped up years later.

Thank you
