Speeding Tickets: How to Serve Subpoena for Speeding in Illinois

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Illinois

I am contesting a speeding ticket I received a while ago (23 mph over the speed limit) and would like to attempt discovery by issuing a subpoena for the officer's calibration records. The Clerk of Court has been giving me a hard time about it, telling me to send the subpoena directly to the police department and the prosecution and refusing to serve it to the appropriate parties. Based on Illinois Supreme Court rules, it seems that discovery is not allowed in traffic cases, except by leave of court. I think that is the issue, but the Clerk of Court has not been helpful in establishing the correct procedure. Therefore, should I contact the judge about compelling discovery with a subpoena?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Theft and Larceny: Valuables Taken from an Impounded Vehicle at the Tow Yard

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arizona
I was driving through Arizona and got pulled over for going 10 miles over the speed limit wasn't cited for that but taken to jail on a 17-year-old failure to appear warrant. After 32 days in jail I want to court seen the judge and the warrant was cleared up and I was released but in the meantime my truck was at a tow yard. I went to go retrieve my valuables and find out what it was going to take to get my truck back. I had some precious valuables in my truck such as gold and meteorite which was to be sold to an expert in Flagstaff this stuff was seen by the officer who searched my vehicle and he even question me on it and he was personally interested in how I came About finding it and we had a lengthy conversation on prospecting and finding gold. I have pictures and videos of it also. My plan was to sell it to get the cash to pay for my vehicle. I went to the tow yard to retrieve my personal property and found those items along with a few other items missing. What is my course of action

Trespassing: Mothers Son Moved in with Her. and Making Other Tenants Lives Hell in Wi

My question involves criminal law for the state of WI
Since he moved in with mother in our trailer park. And they did not update lease agreement. Do we have the right to kick him off for trespassing? He treats everyone like shit. Stands in the window and records the people next door kissing husband and sending him off to work. I am the manager, and he will not listen to me because my name is not on anything or on papers. But he has been told by the owner that he has to listen to me.
However, everything told to him. goes in one ear and out the other.

Sales Agreements: Odometer Fraud

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: California
I bought a used car from a used car dealer and after 2,000 miles the motor spun a mane bering rendering the motor useless. After taking the car to a repair shop we discovered that the car had a junk yard motor. I spoke to the dealer and he said he was unaware of this and that we bought it AS IS and good luck.

I researched the sale of the junkyard motor and discovered that the dealers repair shop had bought the motor from the junk yard and installed it the moth before my purchase.

The milage on the bill of sale clearly does not match the junkyard motor and I am wondering if I have a case or not.

Thank you very much for your time in advance.

Marriage: If the Petitioner Doesn't Meet the Poverty Line Can the Beneficiarys Income Be Added

For AOS Form I-485, if the petitioner doesn't meet the poverty line can the beneficiary's income be added to get over the poverty line? Note that the beneficiary has overstayed their visa and has worked using a social security number in their name (entered in the US with J1 visa) and filed for tax returns.

Trust Administration: Living Trusts Responsibilities

My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: Florida

I am a remainderman in a life estate that was set up over 20 yrs ago without my knowledge. The life tenant tenants assets were mostly rolled into a living trust some yrs ago when she became incapacitated and went into a nursing home. I was recently notified of the the life estate when the life tenant died. Over the last several yrs (at least 10) the trustee allowed the son of the life tenant to occupy the property. Since i had been unaware of the life estate until recently I had someone check on the property and found that the property has not been maintain for several yrs and the son of the life tenant still living in the property. From what i gather the lawn has not been mowed in yrs and the house was trashed. Now, My question is what culpability does the the estate or the trustee of the living trust have in not maintaining the property. Am I stuck or is there some legal recourse against the estate because now i have a tenant that refuses to move who has not maintained the property and it is obvious the trustee did not fulfil his responsibilities in maintaining the property.

Can School Transportation Employee(S) Collect Unemployment During School Vacations

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Connecticut

Morning, all!

Employees who are hired as drivers for a school transportation company, who are aware of the many vacation days and other schedule changes inherent to the particular industry throughout the year -- are they eligible to collect unemployment benefits during those vacation days? What about the summer months? The company is classified as a private contractor for a state agency (W9) which, from my research does factor into the equation...
