Traffic Accidents: Questions,

My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: New Jersey.

I was in a car accident in a no fault state and not sure if it affects my question. I was scheduled for an ime (independent medical examination) and showed up for the appointment but found out it was cancelled by the third party company who scheduled it on behalf of insurance co. Earlier this year I had surgery for the injury sustained from accident which was approved by insurance co. I notified the parallel who works with the attorney who stated it was odd that we weren't notified and that it was suddenly cancelled. I haven't heard back from the attorney yet.

Has anyone heard of this? Is it normal? Should I be concerned?

TIA!

Repossession: Lien Holder Repossessed Vehicle from a Impound Lot, Though My Payments Were Current

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: GA. My vehicle was at a dealership for repair. The dealership was evicted from their lot and my vehicle was impounded in the process. I received a letter from the Impound advising me that they had the vehicle and that I had 30 days to recover it. The next week I went to the Impound Lot with a representative of the dealership to pick up my vehicle and was advised that the Lien Holder had sent a repo company to get it. I contacted my lien holder and was advised that they received a letter from the Impound Lot (dated the same as mine) stating they had 10 days to claim vehicle or they would take possession. I arrived at the Impound lot one day after the lien holder repo'd it. I have been notified by the lien holder that I must pay the impound lot fees plus the repo fees. Isn't this an illegal repossession if my payments were not delinquent and I had the required insurance on the car? The lien holder sent me a Redemption and Reinstatement Form which says, "Notice of intent to dispose of repossessed or surrendered motor vehicle. We have repossessed your vehicle. You are in default under your contract as follows: You have failed to make payments as required." This is not true and I have argued back and forth with them. The lien holder claims that it is their right and I must pay $775 plus additional storage fees required by the repo lot in order to recover my vehicle. I do believe that I am technically responsible for the impound fees (which the dealership has agreed to pay), but nothing else. Someone please help.

Medical Malpractice: Case of Medical Malpractice/ Negligence

My question involves malpractice in the state of: Virginia

Hello I have had a experience in a half, and was wondering if this would be a case I can go forward with.

About a month ago I was rushed to the hospital via ambulance do to excessive blood loss from a laceration on my right palm. In the ambulance they feared I wasn't going to make it to the hospital. I bleed thru two thick pressure bandages very quickly. After the second dressing and blood was covering me he said we don't do this much but had to use a tourniquet to save my life. On when we made it to the hospital the doctor came in and was shocked about the amount of blood loss and looked at my hand and said he'll be back. He came back and said he didn't feel like he could do this . He numbed my hands with the needle and said he's going to call the hand surgeon. He came back when the numbing agent wore off and had to do it again. It wore off in like 20-30 mind. Then he came back numbed it and had the hand surgeon on the phone telling him what to do. At the time I still had the tourniquet on. The loosened it up after they stitched my hand and was still bleeding. Later the hand surgeon came in and said I had 6 tendons and 4 nerves completely severed. And still didn't know why I was bleeding so bad. They said if it didn't stop I would go to the or. After having the tourniquet on for over 2 hours and my arm above my heart it slowed down. The hand surgeon said I needed surgery to fix my hand out I would never use it again. He said he needed 30,000$ to do the surgery. I told him I didn't have the money. He said he couldn't really help me at that point. I asked if we could do a payment plan and he said he couldn't trust me to make my payments. Stereotyping me because I have long hair and a few tattoos. He said I should try somewhere else. So I did. I said uva would help me more. He said OK. He discharged me and I had to walk out. The trip was about a hour and a half and I didn't make it more then half way and went into shock in the back seat of the car and was rushed the rest of the way to uva hospital. I was in there for a whole and the hand surgeon checked the other hospitals medical report and said that he would be more then glad to help me and didn't care about my financials and said I only had. 4 tendons and 2 nerves severed. The other hospital misdiagnosed it. He wanted to help me and scheduled my surgery. When he was finished he went to my friend and said I'm lucky to be alive. And said I had a severed artery. He fixed everything and is the best doctor around the first sucked.

After I made it home I laid down to sleep at 9pm and I had server pains in my hand and my dressing was covered in blood. I rushed back to the hospital. I put so much pressure on it, it stopped bleeding again. Finally getting home at 4am almost 24 hours in different hospitals.

My question is is this a good case?

Emancipation: Parent Trying to Emancipate 16 Year Old

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Texas Is it possible for a parent to petition a court to emancipate her 16 year old daughter whereas she would no longer be responsible for her or her actions any longer? My sister in-law has decided to kick out her 15 year old daughter and her 18 year old boyfriend (who the mother allowed to co-habitate) and either file for emancipation or report her as a runaway and have her picked up at my house. I'm at a loss here. I don't know how to help! Any advice?

Speeding Tickets: I Received a $150 Speeding Ticket in the Mail from Speed Trap in Newburgh Heights Oh

I'm from Youngstown Ohio. I was recently driving through Newburgh Heights in Ohio. A couple weeks later, I got a ticket for driving 38 mph (25 mph is the limit) on Harvard Ave between 52nd street and the intersection where you can get on 77. I watched the video and looked at the two pictures they took of my car online on their website. I was surprised to see this section of road has 6 lanes. It doesn't have houses along the road like you would expect to see on a residential road having a speed limit of 25 mph but instead has trees on one side of the road and Tymex Plastics on the other side of the road.

I decided I would look to see if other people received a ticket for this area and I was surprised to see that Newburgh Heights has several speed traps, http://ift.tt/2aki3Lh tells about them.

I wish $150 wasn't a lot of money to me. Then I could pay and not worry about it but I only work part time. Going to Newburgh Heights will be inconvenient for me. Newburgh Heights is about 1 1/2 hour away. Part of the reason I feel I should fight it is it's so unfair. I hate that they are getting away with doing this to people. If I was only going 3 miles less per hour (35 instead of 38) I wouldn't have got a ticket. A $150 fine for 3 mph! Crazy!

Some people at http://ift.tt/2akhGjQ are saying to not pay it, that it is a civil not a criminal offence. On this site I read, "If you fight it, it's not before a judge or with normal rules of law/court, but an arbitrator hired by the city." I read somewhere else something that seemed to say the same thing, you don't get a trial in front of a judge. I'm not sure what to think. If all you can get is a lesser fine, I'm not sure it would be worth fighting it. I shouldn't have to pay anything!

Please let me know what you think I should do.

Thanks.
